I cannot agree more with the other positive reviews on this company.

Having been in the medical laboratory field I had dealings with this company for over 30 years.

They were instrumental in importing the first ultra-low temp freezers into South Africa and were for years the sole suppliers and the only company that could provide maintenance.

Over the years they became the company we would approach to repair our aging equipment including domestic refrigerators, freeze-driers and even fabricating parts for other non-refrigerator related equipment.

They have always given us the best, most excellent service and are highly recommended.

I would like to commend Marcold Refrigeration on an excellent job done in 2015/2016 with our 'old and obsolete' New Brunswick Scientific U85360 CFC Free -80°C Ultra-low freezer.

Repair work on the unit was previously unsuccessfully attempted by another company. A few other companies had written off the unit, labeling it 'beyond repair'.

Due to limited funding to procure a new unit at that point in time, a desperate attempt was made to search for a company that could restore the unit albeit against all odds.

The contact for Marcold Refrigeration was found on the internet via Google. After an initial inspection and later a detailed inspection at their workshop, Marcold Refrigeration gave the assurance that the unit could be restored.

The unit is still running.
